Welcome back for the ninth edition of 'Gem Hunters' in this newsletter I wanted to cover a few of the hottest projects that I am currently building long positions in. The DeFi ecosystem right now is continuing to explode and I am personally very bullish on the growth we will continue to see over the coming few months and years.
In this ninth official Gem Hunters edition, I wanted to share three projects that I think could see some pretty major upside over the next few weeks. Projects that I am personally investing in and will be looking at entering positions once at solid accumulation levels and/or in any public sale or exchange listing.
If you are happy this series is back, let me know as have other projects that I think would be worth being featured and talked about over the next few weeks.
So let's dive straight into this eighth gem hunters edition and look at the picks...
1) AIOZ - https://aioz.network
Firstly I wanted to start off by sharing something that is not a DeFi or NFT play as I know a lot of hyped projects right now are focusing on that specific area of the market, I wanted to share something, unique, different and refreshing. AIOZ is a layer 1 solution for blockchain-based content delivery and powers a new era for content delivery and internet streaming. As AIOZ is its own blockchain, the solution allows for Dapps to be build on top of AIOZ and take advantage of its decentralized content delivery network (CDN) which will save current businesses massive amounts of costs compared to current CDN’s and unlock a brand new decentralized network.
So what problem does AIOZ solve in todays market? Current CDN’s are cloud based centralized networks that are owned by three of the key players in that space, being cloud based and heavily centralized leaves the current market open to some pretty critical issues. The first major issue is that with current internet bandwidths for the average internet user, 4k and 8k content is pretty hard to view. The overall streaming experience is pretty poor with a lack of easy access to high quality content on demand. The second issue with current CDN’s is that, the infrastructure for storing, viewing and accessing servers is highly expensive for networks, and this has a knock on impact that effects advertisers and content creators by reducing their cut at the end of the whole process. The third and likely the most critical issue with current CDN’s is the lack of scalability, the overall about of network users, internet adopters and traffic has skyrocketed over the past 5-7 years and current CDN’s are just not build to scale.
The current applications that are being built on top of AIOZ that are currently being featured are; AIOZ Tube A video-sharing platform locally powered values viewers and creators from high-quality content to cryptocurrency. AIOZ OTT Subscription video service allows you to stream your favorite shows and movies paid by coins from AIOZ Wallet. AIOZ TV AIOZ.Tv is a live-streaming app that turns your real-life events into a business. Broadcasting your moments for coins!
2) Polkamon - https://polkamon.com
Polkamon is one of those projects that just fits into the market perfectly right now, with the absolutely insane growth and hype we have seen in the NFT scene over the past few weeks, Polkamon is launching into the perfect market and the perfect time.
Polkamon are beautifully animated digital collectibles with varying scarcities. Each Polkamon is backed by a truly unique NFT and can be unpacked with $PMON tokens. Polkamon exist in many shapes and colors, each differing in unique looks and individual rarity. There are also ultra-rare variants waiting for you to discover.
The idea itself is pretty self explanatory, users of the ecosystem will be able to. buy, collect and store Polkamon by unpacking $PMON tokens to reveal ultra-rare Polkamon and/or swap your NFTs for $PMON tokens. The token itself adds an unmatched liquidity to the project by providing a two-way swapping mechanism between the NFT and the token, which is pretty unique and is a super interesting little feature that solves a pretty large problem in the NFT space…liquidity.
Some other really cool features about Polkamon is that, Each swap or reverse swap in the ecosystem will burns PMON tokens, ensuring a continued increase in scarcity of your NFTs and also increasing demand. For users, there is also staking within the ecosystem, users can stake PMON and Polkamon to receive additional rewards. I personally think that Polkamon is a pretty interesting project that fits into the market pretty well right now with the recent explosive hype we have been seeing, I would honestly be expecting this to perform really well after launch and I think it could be a really good pickup, both in terms of NFT’s themselves and also the token.
The token sale for POLM is happening at some point this month I believe so watching their twitter and telegram channels for more news and announcements is probably the best option for the time being. POLM tokens are going to be pretty hyped on listing so hopefully getting access to the public sale on polkastarter would be a great option.
3) Shyft - https://www.shyft.network
Shyft network is being talked about pretty heavily behind the scenes right now, lots of people are interested in what they are working on. Shyft network is a public blockchain protocol designed to aggregate and embed trust and validation into data stored on public and private networks. Shyft are changing privacy by unlocking trust, identity, and creditability networks for humanity.
By allowing and incentivizing individuals and enterprises to work together to add context to data, Shyft unlocks the ability to build authentic digital reputation, identity, and creditability frameworks.
Verifiable trust online has been an unsolved issue since the start of the internet and things have only gotten more and more complicated with the increased demand of internet presence over the past few years. Shyft Network enables the next step in the evolution of online trust by applying consent frameworks and codified rules of engagement to digital ecosystems.
Privacy, Trust and Verifiable data is the most important element of the digital age and Shyft has some very useful and impactful use cases that make it a pretty critical and and interesting project if pulled off successfully. Some of the most impactful use cases that shyft will have are; Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, Attestation, General Data Protection Regulation and Personal Identifiable Information.
The Shyft public sale will be happening less than 24 hours after publishing this article so I thought mentioning it in this gem hunters edition might help someone get access to the public sale and get a good entry price. Their raise amount is actually pretty good at around $500,000 and should allow a few people to be able to pick up a solid entry price, I like this because we see a lot of projects doing smaller raises just to increase demand and hype. This shows to me that shyft are here thinking about the long-term impacts of their raise. I think this is going to be a pretty good long-term project.
